Things I want (and don't want) in KaC

What I want:

-Army color/logo customization (and ability to set custom defaults for multiplayer)

-Dragons with Firebreath (and other Epic Beasts)

-Warlords/Kings with Presence (AoE positive bonus to groups)

-Wizards/Warlocks with Epic spells and Area of Effect and Paladans/Priests for healing armies/holy spells

-Less about the farm and more about killing!

-Psychology system (Like front line troops breaking into fear and flee'ing when not assisted by characters with high leadership value and taking heavy losses)

-Variety of units that all counter other types of units

-Lots of blood

-Cool use of terrain to create bases (Like the blackrock mountain from First Knight movie)

-Open or Invite Beta

-Lots of ideas from Warhammer series not implemented properly in their own games.. (I hate bringing in other series, but it has so many great ideas).

-More use of height and apply height benefits

[Terrain]

-Great looking deep forests with roads

-Countryside farm estates (to burn down along the way?)

Mountain Ranges (to be used as blockers or strategic choke/defense points)

-Guard tower and keep-like checkpoints and ability to create towers/walls along terrain/rivers/etc

-Weather that can affect battle conditions and the map/unit speeds .. for example snow/rain will slow units and possibly weaken them slightly if advancing. Weather effects can be turned on or off for multi-player matches

What I do NOT want:

-Long time to "seige" bases with catapults

-Low quality sprites

-"Simplified" UI or game mechanics

-Small(er) maps

-Trending towards RTT (real time tactics) vs. (real time strategy)

-A bunch of sh** flying around the map like constructed flying machines or blimps

-NEON COLORS|||boom|||Define "smaller maps"

If we're talking SupCom scale, 40x40km maps will NEVER happen in this game.|||Obviously_Not_Toot|||It's too bad .I think it should be great to have a fantasy RTS game with some real epic battle in big areas with a lot of units.Actually it should be great to have gorgeous lands as the Pelenor fields in the lord of the ring. But to avoid the possibility to have this kind of areas a big map is necessary....
