I just had an idea when i saw the video blog with the knights fighting the house^^
How about this: You first build a house and then you decide what task it will have (barracks, ...). So you can build a "single" building and then "upgrade" it to barracks. OR you can build a "double" building with two slots. Maybe you can get a bonus if you place two barracks i a double house.
To make it simpler you could still build barracks but change the type (size, shape) of building by dragging the mouse when placing it or so.
When fighting you could get in the building and capture it (keeping the building but losing its function) or burn it down. This would prevent soldiers from hitting the building with a sword.
Once you have captured a building you can give it a new task (or tasks at a bigger building).
There would also be a tactical aspect to this because the enemy can't see what's in a building. So you could also build empty buildings a a trap.
You could then use a spy or an special ability to see what's in the enemy's buildings.
I hope this was understandable^^
What do you think of it?|||A bit to complicated when you have to fight on a large scale.|||maybe just throwing torches of the building and let it burn down|||Peacebreaker|||Donpollo
