Zombies will do as well though.
However, if you are to raise a big bunch of units as zombies, I demand that you have no control over them.
They would attack all units that stumble on their path, BUT would prefer attacking enemy units and would autonomously head towards any known enemy units.
Or you could drain them as mana or something.|||Zombies are slow, but can take much damage.|||Mazrix|||if the economy resources of gold/stone/etc are finite, bodies should keep their full value for those, and we should be allowed to loot/graverob.|||Cybran Freedom Fighter|||Mazrix|||The loss of units IS the punishment for foolish attacks. 100% reclaim rate is just ridiculous. Sure, you can still do successful harassment against undefended targets, but in the end, the game will turn into mass reclaiming and just throwing a zillion units at the enemy.
If your attack is unsuccessful, you already lose the units. You now have none and the enemy is in good health. Are you seriously suggesting that even at that point the game should punish you to the point of granting the enemy with the gaming equivalent of the holy grail?
Quote:|||Mazrix|||The thing is, in todays world, most people don't have the time, patience, ability to concentrate or just the desire for 30 min games. GPG is going to have to make their game appeal to a large crowd. The very hardcorest of gamers who would gladly have games last longer than 30 mins most of the time is a minute fraction of the gamer base.
While it would make an interesting mod IMO, I don't think it would work as the gameplay basis for KnC if GPG is to make money out of it.
EDIT: Added 4th condition because The_Silencer thinks he is funny.|||Mazrix|||Different situations apply. Sometimes you just want to play a quick game before heading off to wherever you are going.|||Then better to watch a couple of tubes instead of that good movie...
