So i thought, you have four panels for you armies coat of arms, and every time you gain an achievement, you unlock a symbol for your coat of arms, which can be placed on any of the four panels, possible with a number of different colour schemes or finishes.

Warhammer Battlemarch had a good idea, when editing a unit of say, swordsman, you had up to 5 instances that you change. meaning there were 5 different looking swordsman in the unit. look nice with that variety.
