Dragon's scale

[:1]I'm one of the top followers for Kings and Castles development here on Forums (while this is my first post on this category) and on videoblogs, and all I can say is that I'm eagerly waiting to buy this game, game concept and visualization looks great even at this early development stage.
However, while CT talked in his videoblogs about how massive the dragon will be in the game, in the latest videoblog the dragon's scale was well, a bit disappointing. :(
If it were up to me, I would definetly double it's size! <:|||protip: there could be more than one variety of dragon, ya konw? :S|||Go to a zoo. Look at an elephant. Now think that the dragon shown in vlog #10 is at least twice as big. And exhales fire. It doesn't look especially intimidating because we have the benefit of a birds eye view, and the units are not finished yet; Animations; Textures; particle effects; Etc.
Also, its probably approximately of similar size to a Brachiosaurus.

Best example: Rook in Demigod. He was significantly reduced in size in the finished game and still he could completely hide another demigod.
Would it be nice to have a dragon twice the size on screenshots? Yes, it certainly would look great. Would it be good for gameplay? No! The dragon's scale is fine.|||Col. Jessep|||Yay for necroes I guess.
But anyways, how would that be better for gameplay?
If anything it makes it harder especailly when approaching it form the angle of amking it work at that size for melee and other such attacks as well as smaller units attacking it.
Mike|||OrangeKnight|||Hvae you played Demigod? The Rook is a huge demigod, towering over everything else pretty much. When you play online you can basically hide your normal sized demigod inside or behind him to make it harder for opponents to see/hit you. At a certain point size becomes a problem in a RTS game.|||Col. Jessep|||Additionally, if one giant unit has mechanical issues with, for example, the terrain's geometry then it ends up being rescaled before the game hits the streets.|||Col. Jessep|||not trying to be rude or offencive, but if you have a problem with a demigod hidding behind the Rook, heres an Idear for you: turn the camera!|||Dodanodo|||The_Silencer|||Yeah, I know what you mean. But is what you can do. *Shrugs*
Haven't played much since v1.2 for "several reasons" but I was very, and when I say very I do mean very, involved into DemiGod. =)|||It's impossible to see a Demigod that's hidden inside a Rook. Impossible. The good players know how to time it just right. Turning the camera does jack ****.|||Epiphenomenon|||a, there you have it: inside. I was talking about behind. I understand you can't see him if he's inside the rook. but that's an issue in demigod. we're talking about K&C here. and I highly doubt that the same thing will happen again.
I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just pointing out that with the right care, it shouldn't become a problem in K&C.
